La Jolla and Del Mar Wedding
San Diego WeddingsThis La Jolla wedding just happened to occur during our only rain storm in the past 12 months. We knew coming in that there was a good chance of heavy rain so before the wedding even began I offered a “re-do” on the portrait session. And sure enough – during our first portrait session, the light rain turned into epic wind/rain. So with everyone up for the second shoot I was thrilled to be able to go back to Del Mar and spend an awesome hour long session getting some beautiful images to add to the existing collection.

Kelsey and Steve Engagement Photos
EngagementsKelsey is soon to be my baby boy’s pre-school teacher, although our family has already gotten to know her pretty well. I was very excited for her first when she told me she was getting married, and then when she announced that she wanted me to be her wedding photographer. I had not yet met Steve so we arranged a meeting and immediately began planning their engagement photos. Our session 3 days ago started at Old Poway Park before returning to the magical trail behind my home.
Del Mar and Torrey Pines Engagement
EngagementsI met Dave and Jessi in Del Mar for a 2-part engagement photo session that would begin in the village of Del Mar and end on the trails at Torrey Pines. The weather was amazing (low 70’s and sunny) and we were lucky to avoid pretty much any crowds.

San Diego WeddingsThis was such a spectacular wedding – it was an absolute thrill and honor to be able to photograph this picture perfect wedding for Jon and Laura. The ceremony was held at the Catholic church in Del Mar (just up the street from Powerhouse Park) while the reception was held at the clubhouse on the lake in Fairbanks Ranch. Once again – both Jon Tiffin and Chris Wood were on hand to capture the events throughout the day
