Here is a little project I had completely forgotten that I had worked on. Sony was getting ready to release some new cinema cameras so I got together with some of their marketing people and some pre-production models of the camera and we filmed this short story with a blend of all the different cameras. If I recall correctly, I shot a bunch of the footage labeled fx6 which is the camera that I ended up getting to use on my weddings and commercial projects.

Darlington House in the Fall – Video
UncategorizedNew Years Eve with Wine and Jazz
UncategorizedI had the opportunity to photograph Mindi Abair’s Wine & Jazz New Year’s Eve event at the Loews Coronado Island Resort, an evening filled with great music, energy, and a beautifully curated atmosphere. The night blended live jazz performances with an elegant wine experience, set against the backdrop of Coronado Island. Below are a few highlights from the event.

How we do things
UncategorizedI get a lot of questions about how we film our weddings. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at our editing. We usually film the ceremony with 3 cameras so we have the best chance of catching the best angle of all the important moments. It seems like at MOST weddings, someone will stand right in front of my camera at just the wrong time. Filming in this way gives us the best chance of making a great video for you. We also record audio on 3 dedicated audio recorders (in addition to the on-camera audio). We will mic up the officiant and the groom – plus we will pull audio from the DJ’s microphone setup. Again, having this redundancy has proven to be a lifesaver on multiple occasions.
